Refund & Cancellation Policy — GodFills

1. Scope

This policy applies to (a) purchases of physical items (T-shirts, Bible covers, merchandise) and (b) purchases of digital goods or services (design files, printables), and (c) voluntary “support/payments” made through payment links.

2. Key principle (Consumer Protection rules)

As an online seller / e-commerce operator, GodFills follows the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Accepted refund requests will be processed promptly as required by law. 

3. Donations / Voluntary Support / Offerings

Payments labelled as “Offerings / Support / Contribution” are voluntary and are non-refundable except where a technical payment error occurred. Example: if a payment was duplicated due to gateway error, we will refund the duplicate after verification. If you require a receipt or acknowledgement for support, please contact [contact@godfills.org].

4. Product Orders (Physical Goods)

Cancellation before dispatch: Customers may cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it — full refund processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method.

Cancellation after dispatch: Orders already shipped cannot be cancelled; return & refund rules apply on delivery.

Damaged or defective goods: If you receive faulty or damaged goods, notify us within 48hours of delivery with photos. We will arrange return pickup and either: (a) replacement of identical product or (b) full refund (including shipping, if return is due to seller error). Customised items (made-to-order): Custom printed items (T-shirts with bespoke designs) are non-cancellable once production begins, unless faulty. We will clearly indicate customisation timelines at checkout.

5. Digital Goods & Services

Digital downloads (wallpapers, e-books) are final sale once delivered, unless there is a technical failure to deliver.

For services (design work), a partial refund policy may apply: refunds are considered based on work completed; please contact support to discuss.

6. Refund Processing

Accepted refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days to the same payment instrument used by the buyer (subject to the payment partner’s processing times). Consumer Protection rules require reasonable timelines — we will not unjustly delay refunds.

7. Chargebacks & Disputes

If a buyer initiates a chargeback via their card/bank, we will cooperate with the payment processor (Razorpay / PayPal) and respond with evidence (delivery proof, communications). Unfounded chargebacks may be contested.

8. How to Request a Refund

Email [contact@godfills.org] with: order ID, date, amount, reason, and supporting photos (if required). We will confirm receipt within 48 hours. Grievances escalate to the Grievance Officer if unresolved.
